Waterwells in drought area
In august 2009, Crescent Petroleum & Dana Gas drilled 3 water wells in Chemchamal as part of the drought programme. It will benefit 10, 000 people.
School opening in Qarachewar-Qadirkaram
In the presence of Mr. Nawzad Hameed, Mayor of Chamchamal, Halat Hamawandi, Director of Rebaz Foundation and Mr. Salih, the new Mayor of Qadirkaram, both Crescent Petroleum & Dana Gas inaugurated a school on the April 15th of 2009 at Qarachewar village in Qadirkaram district as part of the companies’ Community support program.

Five mobile health teams operate in Qader Karam, Chamchamal, Sangawa, Shwan, Alton Kopre and, Qushtapa. Each team has two doctors. They visit all the villages belonging to the districts mentioned above and check families and school students. More than 2000 persons have benefitted so far.

The old tank was constructed before 50 years and was leaking, as it was not maintained since the last 20 years. The new tank built by Crescent Petroleum and Dana Gas is supplying 20000 people with drinking water.
X-ray room in Alton Kopree Hospital

Alton Kopree hospital is located in the middle, on the high way between Kirkuk and Erbil. Many accidents happen every day and because of non-availability of X-ray facility at this hospital, patients had to be sent to either Erbil or Kirkuk. 10000 people benefit from this X-ray facility built by Crescent Petroleum and Dana Gas with the co-operation of Rebaz Foundation.
Soccer Field in Rezan
The Rezan Soccer Field
Crescent and Dana Gas built a soccer field in Rezan. The purpose behind this project is to improve the social levels in Barzan district. This area was a war zone from 1896 to1998. More than 8000 Barzan family were under Anfal. The community is now under recovery from their past difficult circumstances. Such a facility will provide 5000 young people in the community, who are between 15 and 30 years of age, a chance to engage in different educational, cultural and sports activities.

Under the CAP program both Dana Gas & Crescent Petroleum companies in cooperation with Rebaz foundation donated Educational materials to the students of Chamchamal school on January 5th, 2009.

Crescent Petroleum, Dana Gas & Rebaz Foundation Granted 10 Scholarships for Master Degree in the American University in Suleymania (AUIS)
Crescent Petroleum, Dana Gas & Rebaz Foundation together secured 10 seats for master degree for Kurdistan students in the American University in Suleymania-Iraq (AUIS).
The seats are designated for management & commerce programs & students are required to:
- Have Bachelor degree. - Have minimum 550 degree in TOFEL Exam.
- Be active & have education desire in this field.
- Pass the test with AUIS.
Crescent Petroleum, Dana Gas & Rebaz Foundation will pay for all the education expenses.
Caravan Handover to Grdasoor-Quashtapa
On 19th August '08 under Crescent Petroleum-Dana Gas Community Action Program & with the co-operation of Rebaz foundation, a caravan was handed over to Grdasoor-Quashtapa area to be used as a health center; the event was reflected by people’s appreciation to Dana Gas, Crescent Petroleum & Rebaz Foundation as well as their happiness for having such a medical room.

On 2nd June 2008, under the Crescent Petroleum - Dana Gas CAP program and with the the co-operation of Rebaz foundation, some educational outfits were donated to Qadirkaram school. This event pleased Qadikaram children and gave them more hope for a better education.

On 26th May 2008, under the Crescent Petroleum - Dana Gas CAP program & with the co-operation of Rebaz Foundation, 19 water coolers were handed over to the schools in the town of Altun Kupri. The event was attended by the Mayor of Altun Kupri, Rep. of Directorate of Kirkuk Education & School principals.
