Projects Manager - Sharjah

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Continuously explore and evaluate new opportunities, participate in negotiations with governments, third parties to form new alliances to facilitate access to new opportunities.
• Negotiate with host governments to secure agreements and create financially robust projects in order to expand the business in line with the company’s growth plans.
• Plan, organize, manage, and control various projects in order to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters, standards and objectives.
• Provide input and recommend the continuous improvement of project management practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards, and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.

Qualifications & Skills:

• University degree in Chemical Engineering, preferably with Project Management experience.
• In-depth understanding of the negotiations and commercial skills of the oil and gas industry.
• At least 10 years experience in the direction and management of large projects in the oil and gas sector.
• Familiarity to deal with contracts and legal issues.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
