Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist input into feasibility studies, options identification, evaluation and selection, field development plan, asset reference plan and basis for design.
• Provide technical advice to Projects Department and facility planning on technology requirements, optimization, control, operating procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Provide process technical assistance and input for the effective and efficient execution of projects to maximize company’s profits.
• Participate in company HAZOP meetings and activities. Safeguard technical integrity of process-related works within the company.
• Develop, control, maintain, and apply process engineering technical expertise related to development of schemes, design selection, specification, and operation.
• Maintain up to date with the latest technical developments in oil and gas sectors. Provide input to project innovation reviews where requested.
• Monitor plant operations for efficiency, safety, and deviations from design conditions.
• Evaluate proposed changes to the process based on economics, production requirements, environmental concerns, and safety.
• Provide technical leadership.
• Manage work budgets and resource plans to reach desired outcome.

Qualifications & skills

• University degree in Chemical Engineering, preferably from US/European universities.
• 10 to15 years’ experience in the design of oil and gas production and processing facilities, preferably with operations/commissioning experience.
• Good knowledge in well stream characterization, hydraulic modeling, process design and economic modeling.
• Team player and ability to make presentations to Company management.
