Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine hardware and software installations including desktop/laptop Operating systems
- Respond to requests for technical assistance from users within the organization in person, via phone or electronically
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Coordinate with and assist other members of the team in various IT projects
- Liaise with different IT vendors to get product support and/or quotes
- Provide computer orientation to new company staff
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1 to 1.5 years experience in IT user support or help desk environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering / Information Technology / Telecommunication
- Certification from Microsoft and / or good skills in office applications like Word, Excel, Outlook etc. will be an added advantage
- Good oral and written communication skills
