Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carries out thorough prospect evaluations, integrating both geologic and geophysical data.
- Works with other team members and multi-discipline groups to ensure that knowledge is shared and all elements of the petroleum system are appropriately considered and evaluated.
- Assists team in preparing and making presentations to management, partners and government representatives.
- Communicates and documents project results and recommendations clearly.
- Stays abreast of new technology and apply it appropriately in meeting the group’s objectives.
- Interfaces with all necessary internal groups and organizations to apply best practices to opportunity recommendations.
- Mentors and develops less experienced staffs as necessary.
- Represents Crescent’s interest in dealing with partners, vendors and competitors.
- Establishes and maintains appropriate professional relationships within the industry and with other organizations and individuals to expand professional knowledge and develop useful source contacts.
Qualifications & Skills:
- University Degree in Geophysics or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience and current classification as Geophysicist/Geologist.
- Computer proficiencies required: Kingdom, visualization software applications.
- Fluency in English required
