BADR JAFAR - Executive Director

Mr. Badr Jafar is responsible for master project development and financial deal-structuring activities for the Crescent Group, with a particular focus on upstream activities. He is CEO of Crescent Investments, the Group’s non oil and gas investment company. He is also actively involved in business development at Dana Gas PJSC, and is Chairman of Gas Cities LLC, and of Pearl Petroleum. Badr Jafar graduated from Cambridge University with a Masters Degree in Engineering and a Business Degree from the Judge Business School of Cambridge University.

He is active in a variety of other industries regionally and internationally including, aviation - serving as a Director of Gama Aviation (UK), shipping - serving as Vice-Chairman of Gulftainer Ltd (UAE), real estate - serving as a Board Member of Enshaa PSC (UAE) and private equity serving as a Board Member of Abraaj Capital (UAE) and GrowthGate Capital (Bahrain). Badr Jafar is also involved in the manufacturing and marketing of high-end consumer products worldwide and has founded Collo Ltd (UK) and Persicus Inc (USA). He is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organisation and sits on the Alumni Advisory Council of the Cambridge University Judge Business School.
